Get teams chatting in Slack or start meetings on a lighter note

We begin our weekly team meeting with “warm up” time around an icebreaker question to get conversation flowing beyond “how was your weekend?”

We also rotate through a weekly “on-call” person to post an icebreaker question in our team Slack channel 1–3 times a week. Since we’re a remote team, this helps us get to know each other beyond project-based interactions.
